EL MIRAGE, AZ (3TV/CBS 5) — Two suspects were hurt in a shooting involving federal agents in El Mirage late Wednesday night, according to the FBI.

The shooting happened at the intersection of Thompson Ranch Road and the US Highway 60 around 11 p.m.

Surprise, AZ (June 19, 2019) Prep Baseball Report’s Arizona State Games baseball tournament continues for the second weekend in a row, right here in Surprise. This weekend’s event features 2020 and 2021 graduates with over 1,600 players from across the country, experiencing some of best facilities and tourism hospitality in the southwest.

Over 40 teams from Arizona, California, Colorado, Nevada and New Mexico will compete Thursday, June 20 through Sunday, June 23. Games will take place at the Texas Rangers practice facilities at 15930 N. Bullard Ave., beginning at 8 a.m. each day

Surprise, AZ (June 19, 2019) The intersection of Peoria Avenue and Cotton Lane will be closed for gas line work beginning 10 p.m. Friday, June 21 to 5 a.m. Monday, June 24, 2019.

Daytime closures are also scheduled for Peoria Avenue, Cotton Lane to Loop 303, beginning Monday, June 24, for roadway restoration. Crews will be onsite daily from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. through Friday, June 28. During the roadwork, Cotton Lane will be restricted to a single lane; traffic will be controlled by a flagman.
