Surprise, AZ (March 13, 2020) The safety and well-being of our residents is of the highest importance to us. As COVID-19 (coronavirus) has reached pandemic levels, and out of an abundance of caution, the city will be closing the Surprise Senior Center effective March 14, and it will remain closed until further notice.

While all Senior Center programming and events are suspended, meals will continue to be served via pick-up and delivery. Members will be required to register for meals like normal, at least 48 hours in advance, with Senior Center staff by phone at 623-222-1500. Members who have transportation can pick up their scheduled meals at the Surprise Senior Center at noon Monday-Friday. Meals will be delivered to members who do not have transportation. Please let Senior Center staff know if you need your meal delivered when you call to order.

Surprise, AZ (March 12, 2020) The Seattle Mariners vs. Kansas City Royals game scheduled for Thursday afternoon, March 12, at 1:05 p.m. at Surprise Stadium was canceled following Major League Baseball’s announcement regarding remaining Spring Training games.
