April 12: Household Hazardous Waste Collection in Surprise
SURPRISE, AZ (April 4, 2008) Looking to get rid of old paint cans, computers, or motor oil? Surprise residents can drop them off at the Surprise Household Hazardous Waste Collection Event on Saturday, April 12. Proof of residency is required- just bring your drivers license or a utility bill showing your name and home address.
From 8 a.m. to noon, drivers will be asked to enter the Public Works Maintenance Yard, 13430 W. Westgate Drive, just off of 134th Drive and Foxfire Drive, or about a quarter-mile north of Bell Road. Please enter the area from Foxfire Drive.
All items must be sealed in their original container, or clearly labeled and placed in a cardboard box. When dropping the items off, please stay in your vehicle and staff will remove the materials for you.
