Bell Road Reconstruction Open House
May 14, 2008 Description: The Open House is Wednesday, May 14, at the Surprise Regional Library on Bullard Avenue, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. City staff will be on hand to answer any questions you may have about this project. Address: 16089 N Bullard Ave
In July work will begin on the second and third phases of the Bell Road Reconstruction Project and the public is invited to attend an Open House to get all the details.The Open House is Wednesday, May 14, at the Surprise Regional Library on Bullard Avenue, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. City staff will be on hand to answer any questions you may have about this project.
This project includes resurface work on the westbound lanes of Bell from Parkview to just east of the Loop 303 and on the eastbound lanes of Bell from Parkview to Grand. The work will also include Bell intersection improvements at Reems and Litchfield Roads and in the future new lighting and landscaping for the road, east of Grand Avenue.

City of Surprise Academy - May 13
The academy invites Surprise residents to attend a nine session course that will provide in-depth education on City government, and how it interfaces with County and State government. Budgeting, Planning and Zoning, Transportation issues and discussion, City Department presentations and field trips to both the Surprise Police and Fire Departments are part of the class content.
