Surprise University
Non-credit classes are currently offered under the banner of Surprise University, giving Surprise residents and others an understanding of City government and operations, as well as training to become effective community servants and leaders.Classes are held on weeknights and weekends for the convenience of those who work, and taught by professionals in their fields. Some are offered only once a year but, with careful scheduling, all classes may be completed in less than a year.
For those who want a broad overview of City government and services, the Citizens Academy is the place to start.
