Actions of Council
When the City Manager of Surprise Jim Rumpeltes made accusations last year I have always believed it was more then the open meeting law violations. The then Mayor Joan Shafer addressed the open meeting law to the Ariz. Attorney General and her own admission of breaking the law by diverted the other charges that might have been picked up by the AG.
I thought that the City Council swept the charges under the table with the help of the CM not saying anything.
This Council as honorable as they are, will do as previous Councils have done and keep us in the dark as to what is happening in our City.
