ADOT Loop 303 Public Hearing held Oct. 22 in Surprise
One of the most significant improvements to the plan is at the 303 and Grand Avenue (US 60) interchange. This interchange will be a stacked single-point interchange with ramps below grade. This will retain the current bridge elevation, 25 feet, as the height of the freeway interchange.
Other key points of the project for Surprise include:
- 303 will pass over Peoria Avenue, Cactus and Waddell roads
- 303 will be 50% depressed at Greenway Road and totally depressed under Bell Road
- Sound walls will be constructed near residential locations
