Surprise surplus property auction Web site revealed
SURPRISE, AZ (Dec. 1, 2008) The City of Surprise has created a Web site that makes it easier than ever to find out what’s for sale through the city’s online surplus property auctions.
The new Web site, www.surpriseaz.com/surplusauction, is the one stop site for finding out how to register for and participate in the auctions and view what’s available for sale. Currently the auctions feature file cabinets, desk with a hutch, several chairs, audio cassettes, even 35mm film!
This is a site that you will want to visit often as the city commonly sells vehicles, heavy equipment, tools, office and computer equipment, electronics, and various confiscated property through surplus auctions.
The online auctions are handled through Public Surplus and you can even create an interest list that will alert you through email when the city releases surplus auctions.
The City of Surprise online auctions are opened to the general public. However, city employees and their relatives will not be permitted to bid.
Questions and inquiries about the city’s online auctions should be directed to Rose Testa-Tidwell 623.222.3723.
