I was invited by former Peoria Mayor and current Justice of the Peace John Keegan to have lunch at Mike’s Restaurant in Surprise. Some of you may be familiar with Mike’s, as it is famous for serving Greek food at its original location in Peoria. Mike opened another restaurant in Surprise, then sold it another restaurateur, but ultimately decided that he needed to have a presence in Surprise. Boy, am I glad he made that decision! The food was great and as always, I enjoyed Judge Keegan’s company.
