The Surprise Community and Recreation Services Department is gearing up for another season of fall sports for youth ages 5 -12.

 

Co-ed Youth Flag Football and Youth Soccer, both of which begin in early September, help boys and girls learn the skills of the sport and have fun!

Resident Registration is July 13 – 25. July 25 is a Special Saturday registration for Surprise residents at the Community and Recreation Services Office from 8 a.m. – 11 a.m. Late and Non-Resident Registration will be held July 27 – 31. Registration is also available on-line at www.surpriseaz.com/recreation. Fee is $45 for residents, $55 for late-registering residents and $65 for non-residents. July 25 is a Special Saturday registration for Surprise residents at the Community and Recreation Services Office from 8 a.m. – 11 a.m. Late and Non-Resident Registration will be held July 27 – 31. atThe national Irrigation Association has dubbed July as “Smart Irrigation Month” and the Public Works Environmental Division reminds residents to routinely inspect their irrigation systems and change watering times throughout the year to conserve water.For more smart irrigation tips visit www.smartirrigationmonth.org or visit the Water Services pages of the Public Works section of www.surpriseaz.com. The City of Surprise, in partnership with Credit Union West, is offering the “Understanding Your Credit Score” financial fitness course September 9. This course will address the issue of personal credit and credit scores, what makes up the credit score, how to improve the score, and strategies to implement these improvements.
