    Lyn,

I forgot to bring this to the last council meeting that I addressed, shall I bring it to the next meeting? Bob

I remember this as a totally reimbursable expense by the Knights of Columbus. Skip Hall brought this item to Council for approval. The Knights were to buy flags for display on existing poles, and they were to canvass local businesses to sponsor the flags. As they received donations, they would reimburse the City. The costs for raising and lowering the flags wasn’t specifically discussed, as I recall.

    Responsibility and Accountability

This is where Mayor Lyn Truitt and his gang must of got the idea for tax payers to pay for what the developers should.

State and local government officials should embrace the responsibility for guiding local communities toward beneficial long-term growth and development that recognizes the desires and expectations of local residents and property owners, but transcends narrow or immediate interests and seeks the broadest possible community benefit.
