New Position
Watching how government operates has to boggle the human brain, the federal mentality is dribbling down to the city level which at one time had a more rational approach to governing.

How did the title of Mayor and Council Division Manager get in the job roster without the approval of the Council, has staff been changing the way we are conducting business.
The answer to the above question was that they put this position in the 2009 budget, what they did not understand was that the budget had not been approved yet and until it is, this position does not exist.
Surprise city manager position attracts 109 applicants
The City has received 109 applicants for the City Manager’s job, by taking the average pay for their previous job maybe the City can hire a City Manager at a realistic salary and not one set by the ICMA.
