I emailed Mayor Hall asking what was the proper legal process to place Mr. Hastings on the council in November, hope to receive an answer.
Jack Hastings won over incumbent David Sanders in August and has asked Sanders to resign, saying that voters want him in the seat. But Sanders said he will not resign early, in part because he took an oath to serve his full term. The mayor does not support what he called Hastings’ “impudent” request.
What is
Alyson Cline position on this issue ? Will she be placed on the coucil the same time as Mr. Hastings
Surprise, a general law city, typically seats its newly elected officials in January, too.

Is it safe to travel internationally?
Conditions vary depending upon location. We continue to recommend U.S. citizens exercise caution when traveling abroad due to the unpredictable nature of the pandemic. Check our country-specific information pages to make an informed decision about your travel.
What is the current status of passport operations? You can now apply for routine service and expect to receive a passport in 10-12 weeks. You also have the option of paying an additional $60 for expedited service to receive your passport in 4-6 weeks.
These processing times apply to applications submitted by mail and in-person at an acceptance facility in your community. Most acceptance facilities such as post offices, clerks of court, and libraries are open and accepting passport applications. We encourage you to apply by mail when possible because it is a safe, contactless option for certain services. See question #3 for more details.
All of our agencies and centers are processing passport applications. To prevent the spread of COVID-19 and protect our workforce and customers, we currently are limiting in-person appointments at our agencies and centers to customers who are traveling internationally in the next 72 hours (3 business days) due to a life-or-death emergency. We plan to offer limited appointments for customers who have urgent international travel for reasons other than a life-or-death emergency as soon as resources allow us to do so.
Surprise, AZ (October 5, 2020) The City of Surprise has been named one of the Valley’s Healthiest Employers in a 2020 Phoenix Business Journal ranking, placing sixth among midsized companies.
The city’s employee wellness program includes diverse initiatives that address physical activity, nutrition, stress management, and preventative disease management.
City employees have free access to a gym membership onsite at Ottawa’s O’Dell Center and can enjoy workout classes like yoga and cardio/strength training. They also have access to onsite chair massages, nutritional counseling, annual health risk assessments and other preventive health events.
The city’s wellness programs complement overall healthcare benefits in a way that helps contain costs.
Surprise, AZ (October 7, 2020) City Council last night approved the use of Temporary Expansion of Premise (TEP) permits for local restaurants to help expand their ability to serve more customers while maintaining social distancing requirements during COVID-19.
The TEP permit allows for the temporary expansion of available dining space where viable and safe. This can include patio and outdoor areas, as well as the use of tents or similar enclosures.

http://insurprisetoday.com From the early 1980’s thru the 1990’s Bob Vukanovich brought thousand’s of people to the City of Surprise when few in Arizona even knew that Surprise existed when he operated the SURPRISE SWAT MEET which at the time was the second largest swap meet in Arizona.
Amazingly in the history of Surprise it is not even mentioned.
